Soap Lake Urban Homesteads needs volunteers...
Big and Small !!




We now have new insurance though the Soap Lake Chamber of Commerce!! This is big for us!! This means we can move forward with our community garden!! We have some amazing school, homeschool and Mckay programs/projects planned...BUT WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!!






Volunteer opportunities...

Soap Lake Community Garden
  • Down and dirty work days ~ once a month we gather at the Community Garden for larger work days for planting, harvesting, weeding, clean up etc.
  • We need weekly volunteers for weeding and maintaining the garden. Our Giving Garden will be donated to the Soap Lake Food Bank, which serves over 4000 people including Soap Lake, Lakeview and the housing between Soap Lake and Ephrata...that's a lot of food! We need help with the upkeep of the garden in order to help feed our community.
