Soap Lake Urban Homesteads' Fundraiser!!
We are in needs of funds. Were does the money go?
- We are currently learning as we go with grant writing, which is helping with Community Garden needs. We are currently working with the Conservation District's matching grant for our much needed irrigation...every matching penny helps.
- Insurance. We are still looking for an affordable insurance. Our insurance needs to be an umbrella covering both the Community garden, Farmer's market, and future projects.
- Event Permit fees for 22 Sundays and 22 Wednesdays to keep the Farmer's market going. That is $50. for the first day and $10. each additional day = $480.00 to keep the market open June through October. We would be happy to even raise half of that to keep the market open Sundays.
- Many extras we need to cover including bank fees, filing fees, printing fees, and all the other little extras we seem to always overlook ;)
